Sana Handicraft

You will find Sana Handicraft at 2724/4 on the 1st floor. We are right at the Shaikh Hirjis Pole Corner, which is near the Ramakda Market in Pankore Naka. This is the old part of Ahmedabad, so the streets are like a maze and very narrow. It’s a very traditional area, and there is a lot of history in the buildings around us. Our workshop is on the first floor, so we can look down and see all the chaos of the market below. There is always someone selling something or a scooter trying to get through the crowd. Inside Sana Handicraft, it’s mostly us working with our hands. It’s a small space and it’s usually filled with materials and half-finished items. We aren't a big factory. We are just a local business that has been in this spot for quite some time. The building is old and the walls aren't perfectly straight, but it suits the work we do. We don't have a website or a marketing department. People usually find us because they know the area or they’ve heard about us from someone else. It gets very hot during the summer, but we have our fans and we just keep going. Pankore Naka has a very specific feel to it, and we are happy to be a part of it. It’s a busy, real place where people work hard every day. We just do our bit and keep the business running.
