Sahiyara Events

We are located on the second floor of Shivani Avenue, right at the Jawahar Chowk Cross Road in Maninagar. It’s a very busy intersection in Ahmedabad. If you look out our window, you just see a constant stream of cars and rickshaws. Sahiyara Events is run from this office. It’s a functional space with some desks, a few cupboards for files, and lots of charging cables for our phones. We spend a lot of time on the move, but this is where we come back to plan things out. The crossroad is always noisy, so we are used to talking over the sound of traffic. It’s not a luxury setup. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor gets dirty from everyone walking in and out all day. We do a lot of our thinking and organizing here. Maninagar is a great area because everything is nearby, but the congestion can be a headache. We are just a small group of people trying to keep everything on schedule for the events we handle. There are no fancy mission statements on the wall, just calendars with dates circled in red. We drink a lot of tea and stay late when we have to. It’s just a regular office where we do the hard work of making sure things go right. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the chaos below, which is quite nice sometimes when we take a break.
