We spend most of our time at 41 Management Enclave. It is tucked away near Mansi Complex, which is always busy with people going about their day. Being opposite the Satellite Centre means there is usually a lot of traffic around us in Vastrapur. We handle decorations for different events around here. Sometimes the days start very early when we have to load up the trucks with poles, fabric, and lights. Other times, it's just us sitting in the shop fixing things that broke at the last job. The stairs get tiring after a while. Most of the people living around Vastrapur know where we are because we’ve been here quite some time. We don't really have a big office, just a practical space where we keep our supplies. You can see the old sign from the street. Our team is usually out on-site, so the shop feels quiet during the afternoons. We try to keep things organized, but when three events happen at once, everything gets a bit messy with ribbons and cloth everywhere. It's honest work. We just focus on getting the setup right so the hosts don't have to worry about the stage or the entrance gate. It’s mostly about lifting heavy stuff and making sure the drapes look straight. We know the shortcuts around the back lanes of Satellite to avoid the main road traffic when we're in a hurry. Sometimes the wind picks up and knocks things over, so we go back to fix them without complaining.
