S. S. Products

Our place is at Shed No. 3 and 4, over on Plot No. 2 in Dholka. We are right across from Jagdamba Polymer, which is a much bigger operation than ours. Being in the GIDC area of Ahmedabad means there is always something going on nearby. At S. S. Products, we handle things fairly simply. We have a few lines running for our products, and the staff is mostly folks from the local district who have been doing this for years. The weather in Gujarat can get incredibly hot, so the shed gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, but we have some big fans that help a little. We don’t really have a big marketing team or anyone like that. Mostly, we just talk to our customers on the phone and get their orders ready for the next truck. Sometimes there’s a delay with the raw materials, and we have to shuffle the schedule around, but we always manage to catch up. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We like being in Dholka because it feels a bit more grounded than the city center. You can see the fields not too far away from the industrial plots. We just show up, do the work, and head home. There’s no need to make it sound more complicated than it actually is. It's just a regular business.
