S K Events

We’ve been over here at Vaishali Complex for a while now. It’s on the second floor, right near Khodiyar Chowk in Paldi. S K Events is just a small group of us who handle the day-to-day stuff that comes with putting things together. Sometimes it’s busy, sometimes it’s just us catching up on paperwork. The office isn't fancy, but it works for what we do. People in Ahmedabad know this area pretty well because it’s easy to find once you get to the chowk. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different sites, so the office is mostly for meetings and planning out the logistics. It can get a bit loud outside with the traffic, but we’re used to it. We just try to get the work done without making a big fuss about things. It’s been a learning process, figuring out what people need and how to make it happen without too many hiccups. If you’re coming by, just look for the sign near the stairs. We usually have tea going in the afternoons. It’s just a normal workplace, really. Nothing too special to look at, just desks and a lot of folders. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we started. Most days involve a lot of lists and checking in with vendors. It keeps us on our toes, even when things don't go exactly as planned. We just deal with it and move on to the next thing.
