Rudra Events

We are based out of Bhagvati Kunj Society in Jivraj Park. It's a nice enough area in Ahmedabad. Rudra Events started because we liked putting things together. It isn't always big parties; sometimes it’s just small stuff that needs organizing. Our office at number 24 is usually full of boxes or lists of things we need to get for the next job. Dealing with vendors around Gujarat takes up most of our time. Sometimes things go wrong, like a delivery is late or a venue has a problem, but we just fix it and keep going. That's the way it is with events. People in the society know us pretty well by now. We spend a lot of time on the phone or driving around to see different spots in the city. It’s not a glamorous job, even if the events look nice when they’re finished. There’s a lot of cleaning up and heavy lifting that nobody sees. We don’t have a big corporate headquarters, just this space where we plan everything out. We like being in Jivraj Park because it’s easy to get to different parts of Ahmedabad from here. We’ve been doing this for a bit and we’ve learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t. It’s just us doing our thing, trying to make sure everything is in the right place at the right time. Most days are pretty long, but it’s what we do. It is just a local business trying to stay busy.
