We’ve been operating out of the Fun Point Resort for quite a while now. Being near the Gujarat High Court in the Sola area means we see a lot of people coming and going. Rasranjan Caterers Pvt Ltd is basically a big kitchen and a lot of planning. Most of our time is spent around stoves, huge pots, and crates of vegetables. It’s hot, it’s loud, and it’s usually pretty messy until the end of the day when we finally scrub everything down. We don't have a fancy suite; we have a workspace that’s built for heavy cooking and preparation. Catering is tough because you only get one shot to get the food right for an event. We don't sit around talking about missions or visions. We just talk about how many kilos of rice we need or if the spice mix is correct for the day's order. Sometimes the delivery vans get stuck in Sola traffic, which can be stressful, but we’ve learned to leave early. The staff here has been together for years, so we all know who does what without needing to be told twice. It’s a lot of physical labor, carrying heavy trays and standing for hours on end. We do it because it’s what we know how to do. If you come by Fun Point, you’ll likely smell whatever we’re prepping for the next big party. It’s just honest, hard work in the kitchen and we take it seriously.
