If you're in Ahmedabad and need to learn to drive, you can find us at E-142/1 in Shantikunj Society. We are right on IOC Road in Chandkheda. The Chandkheda Police Station is very close by, which makes it easy to give directions to anyone new. Ramesh Motor Driving School has been helping people in this society and the surrounding areas for quite some time now. We aren't some big franchise. We just have our cars and our small office in the society. Learning to drive in Ahmedabad can be quite a challenge because of the traffic and the way people move on the roads. We take it slow. We start in the quieter lanes of Shantikunj and then move out to the bigger roads once the person feels ready. We don't use any fancy simulators. We think it's better to just get into the actual car and feeling how it moves. Our office is a simple room where we do the registration and talk about the license process. We've seen all kinds of people come through here. Some are very young and some are grandparents. It’s always interesting to meet new people from the neighborhood. We don't do much advertising. People just see our cars driving around with the 'L' sign and they give us a call or stop by the shop. We just try to be helpful and patient with everyone who comes in. It’s a steady job and we enjoy the daily routine here.
