Raj Trading

Raj Trading is located right in the middle of the action at Plot 95 in the APMC Market in Vasna. If you have ever been to a wholesale market, you know how it is. It’s loud, there are people everywhere, and the smell of various goods is always in the air. We start our days quite early, usually before most of the city is even awake, to get things ready for the morning rush. Our space is more of a godown and a small office combined into one. There are piles of bags everywhere, and the floor is usually covered in a bit of dust from the constant movement. We spend our hours weighing items, writing out bills by hand, and making sure the loaders are putting the right stuff on the right trucks. It is a busy life, and there isn't much time for sitting around. We know the other traders nearby, and we often share a cup of tea while waiting for the next shipment to arrive. The market can be a tough place to work, especially when it’s hot or when the trucks are blocked up at the gate, but it’s what we have always done. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done with a pen and a notebook. It’s a practical way of working that keeps us close to the trade we have known for years.
