Rahul Mathur

My name is Rahul Mathur and I run things from here at 65, Dharmanagar Society. This is in the Sabarmati area of Ahmedabad, which is a place I have known my whole life. The society is quiet for the most part, except for when the kids are out playing in the evenings. We set up here because it was convenient and it felt like home. Living and working in the same general area has its ups and downs, but mostly it is just easy. You won't see any big banners or neon lights at our place. It is just a regular house in a regular society where we handle our business. Ahmedabad gets really hot in the summer, so we usually keep the windows shut and just focus on the work at hand. Most of our neighbors are nice people who have been here as long as we have. We don’t try to be anything we are not. We just provide what people ask for and try to keep things moving along. Sabarmati has a lot of history, and being a small part of it now feels pretty good. If you are ever in Dharmanagar Society, you will see it is just a bunch of people living their lives. We are just one of those houses on the street, making a living and staying out of trouble. It is a simple life and a simple business. We just take things as they come and try not to overthink the small stuff.
