Prime Sales

Our place is at Plot No.216 in the Barrel Market. If you are driving down Narol Road, you will see us right across from Chandola Lake. It’s a pretty well-known area in Narol because of all the industrial shops around here. We sell all sorts of items, mostly things that people in the nearby factories might need. The building itself is quite old, but it does the job for us. We have a lot of stock piled up in the back, mostly in big containers. On some days, the smell from the lake is quite strong, but you get used to it after a while. I usually get here early to open the shutters and sweep the front. My helper comes in around noon to help with the heavy lifting. It’s not the cleanest market, there’s always some construction or repair work happening on the road. We get a lot of walk-in customers who are just passing through the market looking for specific supplies. We don’t really do much advertising, word of mouth works well enough for us. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait a week for the next truck to arrive. We just tell people to come back then. It is a simple operation. We have a small TV in the corner for when things are slow. It keeps us occupied during the long afternoons when the sun is hitting the front of the shop door.
