Pradeep Plastic

Pradeep Plastic is tucked away in Odhav, right near the Anjana Chowk area. It’s not hard to find us if you’re coming through the village toward the post office. This part of Ahmedabad is always moving, with a lot of dust and trucks going back and forth all day long. Our workshop is where we handle all the plastic goods, and it’s usually pretty busy from the moment we open up. We’ve got a small team here, mostly people from the local village who have been with us for a long time. The office is just a small corner with a fan that makes a bit too much noise, but it does the job. My father started this years ago, and I took over when I got older, so it’s got a lot of history for us. We don’t spend much on decorations or looking posh because that’s not what people here care about. They just want their orders filled and the products to be decent enough to last. The rains can be a bit of a problem because the road gets muddy, but we keep the stock high off the floor just in case. It’s a lot of standing around and checking machines, then making sure the delivery boys know where they’re going. We take pride in just being a reliable place that people in the district know they can count on. It’s a long day, but we prefer keeping busy over sitting around with nothing to do.
