Pooja Crafts

Our shop is over at G-32 in the Padmavati Complex, right across from the Laxmi Vishnu Complex in the Gheekanta area. If you know Gheekanta, you know how crowded and busy it gets with people and carts everywhere. Our little spot is tucked inside the complex, and it’s usually packed to the ceiling with all sorts of craft items and small bits and pieces. We have shelves that go all the way up, and sometimes we have to use a shaky ladder to reach the stuff at the top. It’s a bit of a maze in here, but we know exactly where everything is kept. We spend a lot of our time sorting through new stock or helping people find that one specific thing they need for a project. The air in the complex can get a bit stuffy, so we usually have a small fan blowing behind the counter to keep us from melting. It’s a lively place to be, and there is always someone popping their head in to say hello or ask a question. We don’t bother with fancy displays or anything like that because we just don’t have the room for it. We keep things simple and focus on the items we have. It’s a small, family-style operation and we wouldn't really want it to be any other way.
