Smit Medimed Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Plot No. 10 in Phase-1 of the GIDC area in Vatva. Being at Plot 10 means we are fairly easy to find once you get into the industrial estate. We deal with medical-related products, so the atmosphere inside is a bit more controlled than a standard machine shop. We try to keep the place organized because there are a lot of small parts and components to keep track of. It is a local business, and we don't put on any airs about being some big international firm. We have a set of desks for the admin stuff and then the main area where the actual work happens. The staff is local, and we usually have lunch together in the small break area. We don't have a fancy mission statement on the wall. We just show up, see what orders are pending, and get to work. Sometimes we have to stay late if a shipment needs to go out, but usually, we wrap up when the sun goes down. The roads around here can be pretty rough, but the location is good for getting materials in. We have been here a while and know our neighbors. It is just a regular workplace where we try to do a decent job every day without any fuss. The work is steady and it keeps us busy through the week. We prefer it that way.
