N. S. Surgical

You can find N. S. Surgical over at B-83 in the Maruti Industrial Estate. We are inside the Vijay Mill Compound, which is a pretty well-known spot because it’s right opposite the Naroda Fire Station in the Memco area. It’s a good location because everyone knows where the fire station is. Our workplace is where we handle a lot of surgical items and equipment. It’s a bit different from the heavy industrial shops nearby because we have to keep things a lot cleaner and more organized. We spend a lot of time sorting through small components and making sure everything is packed up right. The compound itself is older, but we’ve fixed up our section to suit what we need. It gets busy in the mornings when the deliveries start going out. Sometimes the traffic near the Memco crossroads makes it hard for the vans to get in and out quickly. We have a small team here, and everyone knows their job. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see people in suits; we’re usually in our work clothes, checking lists and labels. We have a few shelves packed with boxes and some tables where we do the final assembly or inspections. It is a straightforward business, just keeping up with the demand and making sure the orders are ready when the customers come by to collect them.
