Matru Products

Our place, Matru Products, is tucked away in Phase-4 of the Vatva GIDC area. If you know the industrial layout here, you know it can get pretty crowded and busy. We are at Plot No. 4213. It’s a standard industrial shed, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We spend our mornings getting the machines warmed up and checking the schedules. Dealing with the daily grind in Vatva means keeping an eye on the power supply and making sure the raw materials show up on time. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in traffic near the entrance, which throws things off a bit. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just the sound of work. We don't have many meetings; we just talk over the noise when something needs fixing. It’s been our base for some time now. We handle the production and packing right here on the floor. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, especially in the summer months. Most of us have been working in this part of Ahmedabad for years, so we’re used to the pace. We don't spend much time on paperwork unless we have to. Most of the energy goes into the actual making of things. If you come by Plot 4213, you might see us loading up a van or just taking a tea break near the door. It’s a straightforward operation we’ve got going on here.
