Hiteshbhai K. Doshi

This is Hiteshbhai K. Doshi's place over at Plot No. 71/15 in Phase-1 of GIDC, Vatva. If you’ve ever walked around this part of the industrial estate, you know it’s a maze of small units and busy workshops. We are one of those smaller spots where things just get done without much fuss. The office is really just a desk tucked into a corner with a lot of ledgers piled up. We handle various bits and pieces depending on who calls us up. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking about the cricket scores, but other days the phone won't stop ringing and we’re scrambling to get things sorted. It’s a bit cramped in here because we try to keep as much stock as possible on hand. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks that we’ve meant to fix for years but never got around to. You won't find any glossy brochures here. We just write down what people want on a pad and try to find it in the back. Vatva is a tough place to work sometimes with the traffic and the noise, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. Hiteshbhai is usually around if you need to talk to someone, though he might be out on an errand. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized enough to find whatever we are looking for.
