Bhagwati Dyes & Chemical Industries

We run Bhagwati Dyes & Chemical Industries out of Plot No. 40 in Phase-2 of the GIDC in Vatva. This area is pretty much all industrial, so we fit right in with the rest of the factories. Working with dyes and chemicals is a messy business, so our place looks like a working shop, not a showroom. We’ve got tanks and drums all over the place. It smells like a chemical plant because that’s exactly what it is. We don't try to hide that. The team here has been around for years and they know the routines by heart. Vatva is a big place, but Phase-2 has its own rhythm. We get our supplies in and send our products out. Simple as that. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. If you come by, you'll likely find one of us on the floor checking a batch. We focus on getting the colors right and making sure the chemicals are handled properly. It’s hard work and the hours can be long when we have a big order to fill. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us because they know we are here at Plot 40. We like the grit of the GIDC. It’s where things actually get made. We are just glad to be a small part of the industry here in Vatva. It’s been our base for a long time now.
