Our place, Rosy Colours, is tucked away in Phase-1 of the GIDC in Vatva. If you're looking for Plot No. 51/6 A, you'll find us right there among the other factories. The air around here usually smells like something is being mixed. We deal with a lot of powders and liquids, so things can get a little messy on the floor, but that’s the nature of working with dyes. It’s a bit of a maze in Vatva if you aren't used to it. The truck drivers sometimes struggle with the turns, but we manage. We’ve got a small team. Most guys live close by and walk or ride their bikes in. We start early before the sun gets too hot. It isn't a high-tech setup with robots or anything. It's mostly just us mixing batches and watching the scales. Some days the colors come out exactly right on the first try, other days we have to tweak things a bit more. We keep a lot of drums stacked up near the entrance. Sometimes it gets crowded when a delivery comes in. We don't spend much time on fancy stuff; we just focus on getting the drums filled and loaded. It's honest work. If you stop by, you'll probably see someone covered in a bit of blue or red dust. That’s just part of a normal day here at the GIDC.
