Chennai Colour Chem

We've been here at Plot No. C-1/B-2 in Vatva for a while now. It's a busy spot in Phase-1 of the GIDC area. People mostly know us for the chemicals and colors we handle every day. It’s a lot of work getting the shades right and making sure everything is packed up properly before it leaves the gate. The yard gets a bit dusty sometimes, but that’s just how it is in an industrial estate. We spend most of our mornings checking the stock and talking to the drivers who come in to pick up loads. There isn't much fancy stuff going on here, just us doing what needs to get done. The machines run pretty much all day, and there's always a smell of dyes in the air, which we don't even notice anymore. Some of the guys have been working here since we first opened the doors. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk when things get frantic. If you walk past the office, you'll probably hear the hum of the fans or someone shouting over the noise of the plant. It’s a straightforward operation. We focus on the mixing and the shipping without much fuss. If a batch isn't right, we just fix it. That's the way we've always operated. Living and working in Vatva means we're part of a big community of makers and movers. It’s noisy, hot, and usually quite hectic around here, but it's home to us and we like the rhythm.
