Perfect Pump Industries

Our workshop is located at 2-B4 in the Goteswer Estate. We’re right near the railway crossing in Gota, so we hear the trains go by several times a day. It’s a noisy area, but it suits the kind of work we do. We make pumps, and that involves a lot of metalwork, grinding, and testing. The floor is usually a bit greasy, and there are tools scattered across the workbenches. We aren't a big corporation with a fancy lobby; we just have a corrugated metal roof and some heavy-duty fans to keep the air moving. Most of our guys have grease under their fingernails and know exactly how to fix a motor that’s acting up. We spend our days assembling parts and making sure the seals on the pumps don't leak. When a train passes, the whole place vibrates a little, but nobody really stops working. We’ve got stacks of iron casings and coils of wire waiting to be used. It’s honest, hard work, and we just focus on getting the pumps out to the farmers and builders who need them. There’s always a faint smell of machine oil in the air. We don't spend much time on paperwork unless we absolutely have to, as we’d rather be out on the floor with the lathes and the welding kits. It is a simple life, but the pumps we build go out and do real jobs, which feels alright at the end of the day.
