You can find Peirce Leslie India Limited over at 37, Dr. P.V. Cherian Crescent in Egmore. This is a bit of a quieter part of town compared to the main markets, which is nice for us. The building has an older, more established look to it, reflecting how long we’ve been around. We aren't a new startup with bean bags and glass walls. Our office is full of wooden desks and filing cabinets that have seen better days. We handle various trading and agency work from here. The atmosphere is generally quite professional but in a very old-fashioned way. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. Usually, it's just the sound of typing and the occasional ceiling fan whirring above. Egmore is a central location, so it's easy for people to reach us, though parking on the crescent can be a bit of a gamble sometimes. We have a small staff, and many of us have been working together for a long time. We don't do much in the way of promotion. People know the name Peirce Leslie and they know where to find us. It’s a steady kind of life here. We come in, do the paperwork, handle the accounts, and that’s about it. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, and we don't see much reason to change it now because it works for everyone involved. We just keep the records straight.
