We are Peekay Lamicoats Pvt. Ltd. and you can find us at 42/24 on the first floor along Barracks Road in Periamet. This part of the city is quite old and has a lot of character. Our office is up a flight of stairs in a building that has been around for quite some time. Periamet is known for its trade, and we fit right in with the other businesses around here. We handle lamination and coating work, so the smells in the workshop are pretty distinct—mostly chemicals and materials. It’s not a place for someone who likes a quiet, sterile office. There is always someone moving a pallet or checking a shipment. The first floor gets a bit warm during the summer months, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. We aren't a huge team, just a group of people who know how to handle these materials. Barracks Road is always full of activity, and sometimes getting a vehicle close to the entrance is a real challenge. We don't have a big mission statement or anything. We just take the orders, do the coating, and make sure things are ready for pickup. It's practical work. We’ve been in Periamet for a long time and we like the rhythm of the place. It’s a bit worn down in spots, but it’s home for the business and the people working here. Every day is about getting the coatings right and making sure the lamination is smooth.
