Peejay Overseas

Our office is at Dharam Jyot2, right off Perry Road in Bandra. It’s an old building, and we’ve been here for quite a while now. We handle a lot of shipments and overseas business. The office isn't fancy at all, just some desks, old computers, and a lot of paperwork. Dealing with overseas stuff means early mornings and late nights because the time zones are always different. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing. Bandra is a busy place, and the traffic is always a mess outside, but we like it here. It's just a few of us running things. We pack stuff, check documents, and talk to people from all over. It’s a lot of back and forth with the port and the customs folks. Some days are smoother than others. We don't really have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some stacks of files and a coffee machine that works when it feels like it. If you’re looking for the place, it’s just off Perry Road, easy to miss if you aren't looking for the sign. We spend most of our time on the computer or the phone. The guys downstairs always wave. It feels like a proper neighborhood spot even if we are doing business with people thousands of miles away. Sometimes the rain gets in through the window if we don't shut it tight during the monsoon. We spend a lot of time checking shipping schedules on the old computer. It’s just how we do things here.
