Pee Gee Fabrics Ltd.

Pee Gee Fabrics Ltd. is located right at No. 186/A in G.I.D.C. Naroda. If you know the industrial estate, you know it is a busy place with lots of different factories. Our building is right in the middle of all that action, surrounded by other sheds and warehouses. We deal with fabrics all day, so there are always rolls of cloth being moved from one side of the floor to the other. It gets a bit dusty with all the loose fibers flying around, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone in suits. It is just us and the machines humming along. Some of the equipment is a bit old, but it still runs fine if you know how to handle the controls. The morning shift starts quite early because that is when the natural light is best for checking the colors of the dye. We have a small tea stall just around the corner where everyone gathers during the afternoon break. Naroda is a bit out of the way for some people, but for textile work, it is definitely the place to be. We keep the inventory stacked high, and sometimes it feels like we are running out of room, but we always manage to fit one more shipment in. There is no corporate ladder here, just people doing their daily jobs. We like the honesty of working with our hands. It is a simple life at the factory, and that suits us just fine.
