Parmanand & Sons

Our shop, Parmanand & Sons, is situated at 370/7, Kalupur Lat. This area is always full of life and a bit of chaos, which is just part of the charm of working here. We have been around for a good while, and the walls of this place could probably tell a lot of stories if they could talk. It’s a family-run kind of setup, and you can see that in how things are organized or sometimes not organized. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Instead, it’s just us and the items we stock. The street outside is usually crowded with people moving goods and carts rattling along the pavement. It can get pretty loud during peak hours, but that’s just the sound of the market doing its thing. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and talking to the people who drop by. Most of our day is taken up by the small details that keep a business running. We have some old wooden furniture that has seen better days, but it works fine for us. Sometimes it feels like time moves a bit differently in Kalupur Lat compared to the newer parts of the city. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. It is not always easy, but it is our way of life and we are comfortable with how we operate here.
