Paresh Stores

Our shop is right by the Kalol Highway. If you are driving past the ST Workshop, you can’t really miss us. It is a busy road with a lot of trucks and cars going by all day and night. We sell a bit of everything that people in the area might need for their daily lives. It is a general store, so the shelves are always packed tight with all sorts of different items. We spend a lot of time dusting things off because of all the dirt that blows in from the highway traffic. It is just me and a couple of other people here most days of the week. We open up the shutters early for the commuters and stay open until it gets dark outside. People stop by for small things on their way home from work. We know most of the regulars who live around here by their first names. It is a simple business. We don't have any flashy signs or big advertisements to bring people in. Just a painted board out front. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to stack boxes in the aisles, which makes it hard for people to walk around without tripping. But we sort it all out eventually. It is a noisy spot because of the highway, but you get used to the sound of the engines after a while. We just like being part of the local scene here in Kalol. It is a decent way to spend the day, talking to people and keeping the store running.
