Shop-11 in the Sahakuntal Complex is where we set up Paratechnolabs Webtechnology. It's right on Kaladarshan Road. Being in a shop unit means we see a lot of people walking by throughout the day. It’s a bit different from being in a big office block. We do web stuff—mostly building sites and helping people get online. The space is pretty basic, just a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of cables everywhere. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We’d rather just focus on the code and making sure the websites actually load. Sometimes the internet acts up, which is ironic for a web company, but we deal with it. It’s a small operation here. Usually, it's just two or three of us. We talk to each other across the room instead of sending emails. It’s faster that way. Kaladarshan Road is a busy street, so there’s always something going on outside the window. We’ve had this spot for a while now and we’re used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. We don’t have fancy job titles or employee of the month awards. We just do whatever needs to be finished before the deadline. It’s a simple way to work, and it suits us just fine. No corporate fluff, just local people doing tech work for our clients and trying to stay ahead of the game.
