Panchratna Art Jewellers

Panchratna Art Jewellers is up on the second floor of the Time Square building, at C/205. Being on C.G. Road means we are right in the middle of everything. It’s a very busy commercial street with lots of shops and people always walking by. Time Square is a big, modern-looking building with glass windows, but our shop inside feels a bit more personal. We have glass cases everywhere and lots of bright lights so that everything is easy to see. It’s a very clean space because we have to keep the dust away from the items we show. We spend most of our day sitting behind the counters, waiting for people to come in or working on small repairs at the back bench. It’s quiet in the shop compared to the noise of C.G. Road outside. Sometimes customers stay for a long time just talking and looking at things, and we don't mind. We have a small kettle in the back to make tea for ourselves and anyone who visits. The Ratnam Complex is just nearby, so there are always plenty of people around. It’s a nice enough place to work, even if the air conditioning can be a bit too cold sometimes. We just focus on the small details and making sure everything in the cases looks right for whoever walks in.
