Km Art

Km Art is situated on the third floor of the Bbc Market, room number 373. We are right near Jubilee Hospital in the Panchluva area, directly across from the Umarul Farook Masjid. Being in a market means there is always noise and people moving around downstairs. We’ve got a lot of supplies tucked into our space, sometimes it feels like we’re running out of room. It’s a bit of a climb to the third floor, but the exercise is good for us. We do a lot of different things here, mostly focusing on whatever art or design work comes through the door. It’s not a fancy studio with high ceilings, just a practical workspace where we can get things done. The light coming in from the windows is helpful when we’re working on something detailed. We’ve been in this spot for a good amount of time and have gotten to know the other shop owners in the Bbc Market. It’s a tight-knit community in some ways. We don't spend much on advertising, mostly just people finding us because they were already in the area or heard about us from a neighbor. Sometimes things get messy with paint or scraps of paper, but that’s just part of the creative process. We just keep working away and hope people like what we make. Most of the time we are here from early morning until late evening.
