Oven Restaurant

Our place, Oven Restaurant, is tucked into the Shree Vardhman Complex in the Bhatta area of Paldi. It’s a decent sized spot where we spend most of our hours. The kitchen is usually the warmest part of the whole building, especially when we have everything running at once. Paldi is a crowded neighborhood, so there is always someone walking by the complex or looking for a bite to eat. We have some tables and chairs set up, nothing too special, just a place for people to sit down for a bit. Some of the regulars come in every single day and we know exactly what they want before they even say a word. It gets pretty hectic during the lunch hour when everyone from the nearby offices comes over at the same time. You can hear the pans clanking and the orders being called out from the back. We try to keep the floor clean, but with so many people coming in from the dusty street, it’s a constant job. The complex itself is easy enough to find if you are familiar with the Bhatta section. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything. It is just a few of us working together to keep the food coming out. We mostly focus on getting the tasks done and making sure we don’t run out of ingredients before the dinner rush starts later on. This is how we run things.
