If you go past Navnit House on Gurukuc Road, you’ll find us in the Shikhar Complex. We are up on the third floor in room 304. Orbit Green Foods Pvt. Ltd. is where we handle the food business. It started out small and we’re still not exactly a giant company, but we keep busy enough. Dealing with food products means we have to be careful about what we source. We spend a lot of time on the phone with farmers and vendors. The office is usually filled with samples and piles of documents. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like. It’s a bit of a climb. We deal with all sorts of things, mostly dried goods and items that can travel well. It’s not just about selling; it’s about making sure the quality is what it should be before it leaves. My desk is always a mess with invoices, but that’s just how I work. The team here is small, just a few of us who have known each other for years. We eat lunch together most days. It’s a straightforward job, nothing too complicated to explain. We just want to make sure the food we move is decent and gets to where it’s supposed to be on time. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't trying to change the world, just selling food.
