Om Hi-Tech Tool Room

Down here in the Peenya Industrial Estate, things are always a bit loud and dusty. We are located at C-208 on the 4th Cross in the 1st Stage. It’s a busy area, lots of trucks moving in and out all day long. Om Hi-Tech Tool Room has been sitting in this spot for quite some time now. We spend most of our hours around the machines, making tools and fixing things that people bring in. It's the kind of work where your hands stay dirty and you learn something new every time a part breaks. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of layers of management. It is just a small crew of us who know the equipment inside out. Sometimes the heat in the shop gets a bit much during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get through the day. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor actually working. We take our jobs seriously because if a tool isn't right, nothing else works down the line. It is basic, practical work that keeps the bigger factories running. Most of our neighbors are doing similar things, so there is a good sense of being in it together. We’ve had the same machines for years and we know their quirks. It’s just how we do things here at the tool room, day in and day out.
