Yukesh Industries

We are Yukesh Industries, and you’ll find our workshop at C-1A-7/A in the G.I.D.C. area of Odhav. A good landmark is that we’re right behind Hindustan Marble. In fact, people often get lost and end up at the marble shop first before they find our gate. The G.I.D.C. is a busy place, especially in the afternoons when all the trucks are trying to load up. Our unit isn’t very big, but we have enough room for the lathes and the welding equipment we use. It’s usually pretty loud inside because of the metal work, so we mostly communicate with hand signals while the machines are running. We’ve been in Odhav for quite some time now. We know the tea stall guy at the corner and the other shop owners on this block. It’s a community of workers, really. We don’t bother with fancy offices or air conditioning in the main area. We just open the shutters to let the air in and get to work. Most days are the same—check the materials, run the machines, and pack up the finished pieces. Sometimes the raw material delivery is late, which can be a headache, but we find ways to stay busy. It’s just an honest day’s work for us here. We don't claim to be anything we aren't, just a small unit doing our part. We hope to stay here for many more years to come.
