R. K Gems & Jewels

R. K Gems & Jewels is located at No. 15/a inside the Rameshwar Industrial Estate on Canal Road. Being in an industrial estate means our daily environment is more about warehouses and workshops than retail shopping malls. Canal Road is often busy with trucks and people moving goods back and forth. Our space is where we get down to the business of gems and jewelry. We have our tools and our supplies all laid out in a way that works for us. It’s not the neatest place sometimes, especially when we are in the middle of a big project and there are sketches and stones all over the tables. We like the industrial feel of the estate because it reminds us that we are here to build things. We don't really bother with the fancy side of the business. We focus on the stones and the settings. Some days the humidity from the canal makes things a bit sticky, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We’ve been here at Rameshwar for quite some time, and we’ve gotten to know the rhythms of the area. It’s a solid place to work without the distractions you get in the more commercial parts of town. We just do our own thing, handle our customers when they visit, and try to make sure every piece we touch is handled right.
