Parasmani Gems Pvt. Ltd. is based at 2, Supan, right near the Dharnidhar Derasar. It’s a quiet enough spot for what we do. We spend our time looking at stones and dealing with jewelry pieces. It isn't like those big showrooms you see in the city center. Our place is a bit more personal and low-key. We sit here at our benches, working on the details that most people might miss. We started this because we have an interest in gems, and it’s turned into our daily life. Some days we are just cleaning things up, and other days we're looking at new arrivals. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe the gems. We just look at them for what they are. The area around the Derasar is familiar to us, and we like being part of this little corner. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We might have tea and talk for a bit before getting back to the work. It’s just how we operate. We don't do much in the way of promotion; most of our business is just people who have been here before or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a practical way to run things.
