J. C. Dyes Chem Industries

J. C. Dyes Chem Industries is located at Plot No. 60 in the Gidc. We deal with dyes and chemicals, so the place usually has a bit of a smell to it. That’s just how it goes when you’re mixing colors and chemicals all day. The floors are stained with different shades from over the years. It’s an industrial unit, through and through. We don't have a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and find someone in the back. The Gidc is a busy place, and we’re just one of many units trying to get our orders finished on time. We pack the dyes into barrels and sacks. It’s messy work. We don't talk much about visions or goals. We just make sure the chemical batches are right so the customers don't complain. The pipes and tanks need a lot of maintenance, and that takes up a good chunk of our time. We’ve had this spot for a while. The neighbors are all doing similar stuff, so it’s a noisy, working environment. We just keep our heads down and mix the dyes. It’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the rain leaks through the old roof, but we just move the stock and keep going. It’s nothing special to look at, but it keeps us all fed and busy. We just hope the truck arrives on time so we can clear some space on the floor.
