Inspiron Engineering is situated at Survey No. 320. We are right near the GIDC area in Odhav. If you know Odhav, you know it’s a very busy industrial part of the city. There is always the sound of machinery and the smell of grease in the air. We do engineering work, which basically means we are always fixing things or making new parts. The workshop is usually quite loud. We have to shout sometimes just to be heard over the lathes and drills. It’s a gritty environment, but we’re used to it. The floor is stained with oil and there are metal scraps in the corners. We’ve been at this Survey No. 320 location for a long time. Our neighbors are all in similar businesses, so we often share advice or help each other out with equipment. It’s a tight-knit community in a way. The commute through Odhav can be a nightmare with all the trucks, so most of us try to arrive early. We have a small office tucked away in the front where we handle the billing and the phone calls. It’s a bit quieter in there, but not much. We don't really have a big corporate philosophy. We just take the jobs as they come in and try to finish them on time. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. That is really all there is to it for us. We just keep the machines running and the orders moving.
