Oberoi Multimedia Ltd. has been operating out of Ripal Apartments on Premchandnagar Road for quite a while. We’re right behind Satyagraha Chavni in Bodakdev, which is a pretty well-known part of Ahmedabad. Our office is more like a functional workshop than a corporate suite. We deal with all sorts of multimedia tasks, which means our days are never really the same. One day we might be editing video, and the next we’re dealing with sound or some digital layout. It gets pretty noisy and crowded in here sometimes. We don't put on airs or try to act like we’re some big international firm. We’re just a local team that knows how to handle media equipment and software. Things break, software crashes, and clients change their minds at the last minute—that’s just the reality of the job. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the task in front of us. Most of us have been working together for years, so we have a rhythm, even if it looks a bit chaotic to an outsider. You won’t find any scripted sales pitches here. We just talk like regular people and tell you what can be done and what can't. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it’s served us well in this Bodakdev neighborhood. Sometimes we just stay late and order food because a project needs that final push before it’s ready to be sent out to the client.
