Ahmedabad is a city that never really seems to slow down for anyone. Being in the 380001 area means we are right in the thick of all the noise and activity. Niche Events & Promotion isn't some massive corporation with a shiny glass building and a lobby. We are a private limited company on paper, but the day-to-day reality is very much about ground-level work and tired feet. We spend a lot of our time scouting locations or talking to people about what they need for their promotions. It’s often incredibly hot outside here, and we end up carrying a lot of heavy equipment back and forth. The work is mostly about planning things out and then making sure the plan actually happens, which is always harder than it sounds. Things go wrong all the time. A banner might be the wrong size or a speaker might not show up on time, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. We don’t have a script for how we talk to people; we just talk like normal neighbors. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes, especially during the festival seasons when everyone wants something done at the exact same time. Our office is just a place to keep our files and take a breath between meetings. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just trying to make sure the events we handle go off without too many problems. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do.
