New Unity Watch Co

New Unity Watch Co has been sitting here on Gandhi Road for a long time, right near the Kalpana Theatre. You can usually hear the noise from the street and the people heading to the shows. It is an old part of town, and the building shows its age, but it suits us fine. We spend our days tucked away behind the counters. Most of the work involves fixing the stuff people bring in, like old mechanical watches their fathers gave them or cheap digital ones that need a new battery. The shop floor is a bit worn down from people walking in and out over the years. We have a few shelves of clocks on the walls too, and they all tick at different times, which creates a strange rhythm in the background. It is mostly just a one or two-man operation here. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Usually, we just sit by the window where the light is better for the fine work. Sometimes customers stop to chat about the movies playing nearby or the weather, which has been getting hotter lately. We take our lunch at the same time every day and shut the door for an hour. It is a simple way to make a living, and we like being part of the Gandhi Road community. There is always something happening outside, but inside, it is just us and the watches. We've been here for many years.
