New Patel Watch Co (Bapunagar)

Our shop is Shop No. 2 in the Gokul Chambers. We are near the Approach Bus Stand on India Colony Road in Bapunagar. Being near the bus stand means we see a lot of people rushing by to catch their ride. We have been here for a while and the Gokul Chambers building is a familiar landmark for folks in this part of town. New Patel Watch Co is basically a small room where we keep our tools and some watches for sale. It gets a bit noisy with the buses pulling in and out, but you get used to it after a week or two. We spend most of our day sitting at the bench. There’s a lot of tiny screws and springs involved in what we do, so we have to stay focused even when it’s loud outside. The shop floor is just plain tile, and we have a couple of chairs for people who want to wait. We aren't looking to become some big franchise. We just like fixing things for the people who live around Bapunagar. Sometimes the rain comes in through the front if the wind is blowing hard, so we have to be quick with the shutter. It is just a regular life here, nothing too exciting. We know our neighbors and they know us. The clock on the wall usually chimes every hour, so we always know exactly what time it is.
