We are over at A/6, Ujjwal Apartments, right by the Vijay Cross Road in Navrangpura. Being in an apartment building means things are a bit different than a regular office block. We share the space with people who actually live here, so we try to keep the noise down in the hallways. The location is great because there are so many places to grab a quick snack or lunch just outside the gate. Vijay Cross Road is always buzzing with students and people heading to work, so there is never a dull moment if you look out the window. Inside our unit, we’ve got desks squeezed into the rooms and wires running along the baseboards. It’s a bit of a tight fit, but we make it work. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small nameplate next to the doorbell. We spend our days mostly on the computers or sorting through mail. The internet goes out sometimes when there’s a storm, and we just have to wait it out or use our phones. It’s not a polished corporate setup; it’s more like a group of people working together in a homey environment. We know the security guards at the gate by name, and they usually help us when we have heavy boxes coming in. It’s just how we do things here, day in and day out, without making a big fuss about it.
