Nayanjyot Pl Desai Eye Centre

Our eye centre is at 14-b in the Hindu Colony, right on Stadium Road. It’s a pretty well-known spot because of the stadium nearby. When there is a big match or an event, the whole street gets blocked off and it’s a bit of a nightmare to get to work. But on regular days, the colony is actually quite peaceful and quiet. We have been here for a good while, and we know many of the people who live in the houses around us. The clinic is set up to handle a lot of people coming in for checkups. We have the usual chairs in the waiting room and a few eye charts on the walls. The lighting has to be just right for the exams, so we are always fiddling with the switches. We spend a lot of time cleaning the lenses and making sure the equipment is dust-free. The staff here is small, just a few of us who have worked together for years. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to fill the silence while we wait for the next person. It’s not a fancy place with marble floors, just a solid, dependable eye centre in a good neighborhood. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask a quick question about their glasses. We like being part of the Hindu Colony community. It feels like a local shop more than a big medical facility.
