Softlink

We’ve been here in Navrangpura for a long time now. The office isn’t anything fancy, just a couple of rooms where we get our work done every day. It’s usually pretty quiet except when the tea guy comes around or someone’s arguing about a bit of code that won't work. We started Softlink because we knew a bit about computers and people needed help with them. Most days are just us sitting at our desks, typing away and answering the phone when it rings. It gets quite busy during the afternoons. Navrangpura is a good spot because there are plenty of places to eat nearby, though parking is always a headache. We don’t really have a big philosophy or anything. We just show up, try to solve the problems that come across our desks, and go home to our families. Some of the equipment is getting a bit old, but it still does the job. Most of our neighbors know us by now. It’s a small team, maybe five or six of us depending on the day. We don’t spend much on decorating the place, so there are wires everywhere and stacks of old papers on the side tables. It feels like a real workplace though. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-conversation about something technical. We just do what we can with what we have and keep things moving.
