Environment Planning Groupvt. Ltd. is situated at 8G Trade Center, near Stadium Circle in Navrangpura, Ahmedabad. Our office is right in the middle of everything, so the sounds of the city are always there in the background. We spend most of our time looking at maps and planning documents. The desks are usually piled high with folders and rolls of paper. It’s not a very large office, but we make the most of the space we have. Navrangpura is a busy part of Ahmedabad, so there’s always someone coming in or going out. We do a lot of thinking about how land is used and how things are built. It involves a lot of sitting around a table and talking through different ideas. Sometimes we disagree and the discussions get a bit loud, but that’s just how we work through things. We aren't the type of place that has a lot of corporate polish. The chairs are a bit old and the printer sometimes jams when we’re in a rush. But we get the planning done. The 8G Trade Center is easy to find, which is good because we have people dropping off documents all the time. We just try to keep up with the projects and make sure the drawings make sense before they go out. It’s a lot of detail work that keeps us at our desks until the lights in the other offices go out and the streets get quiet.
