Navkar Tex Chem, Ahmedabad

Navkar Tex Chem is based in Ahmedabad, specifically at No. 210 in Vanijya Bhavan. This is right in the Kankariya Yard area, which is always buzzing with activity from morning until night. Being in the heart of Gujarat’s textile hub, we deal mostly with chemicals that the local mills and factories need for their fabrics. Our office is a simple room in a large commercial building where many other traders work. It’s usually filled with the smell of different chemical samples and the sound of the ceiling fan clicking away. We have a few cupboards where we keep the documents and some jars of the products we handle. Outside in the yard, there are always trucks loading and unloading, so it can be a bit of a scramble to get things moved around. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us who manage the orders and talk to the factory managers. We’ve been operating out of this yard for quite some time now, so we know most of the other people in the building. Life here is mostly about keeping up with the demand and making sure the right chemicals get to the right place on time. We don't really go in for big presentations or anything like that. We just do the work and try to stay cool in the Ahmedabad heat. It is a busy life but it keeps us on our toes every single day.
