National Plastic Emporium

National Plastic Emporium is located right at 101, Mamulpet. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and people moving through the lanes. We are tucked into our spot here, and it’s been that way for quite some time. The shelves are usually packed with whatever we have in stock at the moment. It’s not a large place, but we make use of every inch of space at 101. The walls are a bit dusty, and the floor has some scuffs from years of feet walking over it. We don’t really bother with decorating much because we are too busy managing the items and talking to folks who come by. Mamulpet has a certain rhythm to it, and we are just one part of that. In the mornings, we roll up the shutters and start the day. It’s often loud outside, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. We’ve got a small desk near the front where we keep the ledger and the phone. Sometimes the sunlight comes in at a weird angle and makes it hard to see, but we’ve learned to live with it. It’s a simple operation really. No fancy bells or whistles here, just National Plastic Emporium doing its thing in this busy part of the city. We’ve stayed at 101 because it’s where everyone expects to find us. It's been a long time since we first opened these doors. It's just a normal workplace.
