Hindustan Organics

Hindustan Organics sits right on Plot No. C1/1114/c in Phase 4 of the Gidc. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The building is just a standard industrial unit, nothing that would catch your eye from the road. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through the daily orders and keeping the machines running. We don’t have a receptionist or a big lobby. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk into the main area and find one of us. It gets loud during the day, so we have to shout over the noise sometimes. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s when most of the talk happens. We do what we do with the organics because we’ve been in this line for years. It’s dusty in this part of Gidc, especially when the trucks go past, but we keep the doors shut when we can. Our desks are piled with papers and old ledgers. It’s a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. We don’t bother with fancy brochures or anything like that. People who need us usually know the address or get it from someone else in the trade. We just want to finish the work and go home to our families at the end of the day. That’s the way it’s always been for us at Plot No. C1/1114/c. It’s a decent life and we’ve got a good crew. We just keep our heads down.
