Nagaraju Ranga

Nagaraju Ranga is based out of Navrangpura in Ahmadabad. We are located within the School of Planning at CEPT on University Road. It’s a bit of a different environment than a regular commercial office. Being near the university means there are always students around and a bit of an academic feel to the whole area. We share space through Devanand, and it works out well for what we do. The campus has a lot of trees, which is a nice break from the dusty roads outside. Ahmadabad can get incredibly hot, so we spend a lot of time indoors during the middle of the day. Our workspace is usually cluttered with drawings or notes. It’s not the kind of place where everything is perfectly filed away. We have our own system of chaos that somehow works. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. Most days it’s just casual clothes and a lot of work. The university road area is always busy with traffic and people moving between classes. It keeps us on our toes. We don't really have a big public image. We just exist in this small pocket of the city, doing our thing. It’s a quiet life for the most part, focusing on the projects we have. We don't make a big deal out of it. We just show up and do the work. It’s a steady pace that we've maintained for quite a while now.
